The Campaign for a Scottish Borders National Park is gathering pace.

See our first Newsletter which we are now distributing around the Borders.

We would like to hear from you wherever you are, in or outside the Scottish Borders. If you live or work in this stunningly beautiful area, if your business is based here, or if you have visited - or are planning to visit - we'd love to have your views.

Please browse this website, and join the discussion on Facebook (look for scotbordersNP) or on our comments page here. Your feedback will help us to refine this dynamic plan to look after our cultural and natural assets and boost the local economy by putting the Scottish Borders on the world map.

We are delighted to announce the award of a Big Lottery grant of £9,354 for us to create a feasibility study into the creation of a National Park in the Borders of Scotland. This is very exciting for us as it gives our campaign the hallmark of credibility and will take us to the next step of producing a properly researched, professionally written formal document, setting out the case for a National Park in the Scottish Borders. This document will then form the basis of further consultation and disussion to secure the support of all stakeholders, local and national. We are now proud to display the Big Lottery logo on our website.
